Details
Zeolite can absorb larger amounts of organic nitrogen and has the ability to break down toxic ammonium through ion exchange.
It can be used in all filter systems and also improves water hardness. Toxins and heavy metals are bound. Once the absorption capacity of zeolite is exhausted, it can be regenerated by a 5% salt bath (50g salt per liter of water). It is recommended to place zeolite in a filter media bag. It can also be used as a cover for Aquaclay and BioBeads.
