The Tri Koi® Food Mix Large is composed as follows:
33.3% each of Tri Koi® Wheat Germ, Tri Koi® Spirulina, Tri Koi® Color

This food contains no artificial colorants. Therefore, this mix has significantly less color than comparable foods. However, this prevents water discoloration. Colorants are added to food so that the koi owner is pleased and thinks they are feeding a balanced food. For koi, the colors don't matter. They don't recognize the difference. And your water will be grateful if these are not in the food, as the colorants dissolve from the pellets over time and only color the water.
