The standard feed mix in the koi industry. This koi food mix is our best-selling food type. This mix is produced by Hokovit in Switzerland. This feed mix is designed for the colder season. However, you can also feed this mix if your koi no longer need to grow and you want to reduce feeding stress with the sinking food component.

This mix is ideal for older koi, indoor housing, in case of filter problems, or for mixing in medication.

The Tri Koi® Feed Mix Large is composed as follows:
33.3% each Tri Koi® Wheat Germ, Tri Koi® Spirulina, Tri Koi® Vital (sinking)

This feed contains no artificial colorings. Therefore, this mix is significantly less colored than comparable feeds. However, this prevents water discoloration. Colorants are added to the feed so that the koi owner is pleased and thinks he is feeding a balanced diet. For the koi, the colors don't matter. They don't recognize the difference. And your water will be happy if they are not included in the feed, because the colorants dissolve from the pellet over time and only color the water.
