Tri Koi® Friend represents our affordable entry-level feed. Inspired by its famous namesake, we commissioned a simple feed for a small budget. This composition was significantly improved in quality with the switch to Hokovit. Since then, pond owners who want to spend less on their koi food can rely on a feed that is unbeatable in the industry in terms of price/performance. This feed is produced by Hokovit in Switzerland.

This feed contains no artificial colors. Therefore, this koi food is significantly less colored than comparable feeds. However, this prevents water discoloration. Dyes are added to the feed so that the koi keeper is happy and thinks he is feeding a balanced diet. The colors do not matter to the koi. They do not recognize the difference. And your water will be happy if they are not included in the feed, because the dyes eventually dissolve from the pellet and only color the water.
