The sustainable suppression of algae blooms is an important prerequisite for a biological balance in the water. AlgoSol acts actively against all types of algae and reliably inhibits algae blooms and the unilateral proliferation of individual algae species in ponds. AlgoSol achieves excellent results, particularly with unicellular green algae as well as in the preventive treatment and suppression of blue-green algae. AlgoSol does not kill algae immediately, as the decomposition of the organic material would otherwise lead to enormous oxygen depletion. The active ingredients in AlgoSol cause the algae to die off slowly, which means the active period can take several days. This consciously preserves the biological balance in the pond. In addition, the light filter SpektroSorp reduces the light yield of the algae and thus their photosynthetic activity. The algae gradually "starve." AlgoSol prevents the harmful effects of the algae metabolism, such as the excessive consumption of carbonate hardness and strong fluctuations in pH value. Regular application effectively prevents renewed algae growth. AlgoSol is free of humic acids and does not affect the performance of your filter.

Our application and dosage recommendation: For optimal results, apply in the morning. Dilute the dose with at least 20 times the amount of pond water (e.g., in a watering can) and distribute it evenly throughout the pond. Avoid contact of the undiluted product with aquatic plants. When used correctly, there are no known side effects on fish, plants, and amphibians. Fish can remain in the pond during treatment. The pond water can still be used as irrigation water after AlgoSol treatment. 50 ml of AlgoSol per 1,000 liters of pond water. After 2 to 3 weeks, re-dose the same amount to increase efficiency and combat germinating permanent forms. In case of heavy algae infestation, the use of AlgoSol forte is recommended. For blue-green algae infestation: 10 ml of AlgoSol per 1,000 liters of pond water for 5 consecutive days. In case of accidental significant overdosing of AlgoSol, animals and plants in the pond may be damaged. In this case, add TeichFit to the pond, which will cause substantial neutralization of the active ingredients in AlgoSol.
At the recommended dosage of 50 ml of AlgoSol per 1,000 liters, there is an average of 175 µg of copper sulfate in each liter of pond water. Use algicides with caution. Always read the label and product information before use.
