The IceFree 4 Seasons combines an ice preventer and a water feature in one unit. The pump draws water from deeper areas of the pond to the surface, helping to keep a small area ice-free. This promotes gas exchange between the pond and the ambient air. With the nozzle attachment, the device can be used as a water feature during the warmer months. The water movement encourages exchange between water and air. The IceFree 4 Seasons is suitable for use at temperatures down to –20 °C and can be operated at a minimum water depth of 80 cm. The pump operates without an additional heating element.
