Greenwater-Ex helps against green water. The cause, the suspended algae, are bound and can then be broken down in the filter.
Suspended and green algae are predominantly single-celled organisms that live dispersed in the water. They make the water appear green and cloudy. These green algae are normally removed by a sufficiently large UV lamp. For small ponds, or as a supplement, we also offer Greenwater-Ex.
Greenwater-Ex has been specially developed against green water. Its special composition effectively combats suspended algae. The resulting flocculation is removed either by the filter or a net.
Greenwater-Ex cannot replace a UV lamp and does not help to solve the problem permanently.
Application:
To achieve an optimal effect, first determine the water values. The pH value must be in the range of 7-8, the carbonate hardness at approx. 8 degrees. If the water values of your garden pond are lower, raise these values to the above values with kH and pH-stabilizing agents.
