Collection, Shipping & Quarantine

Individual Collection and Shipping Period

Each Koi has an individual collection and shipping period. The binding date can be found directly in the product description of the respective Koi.

Note:
An individual collection and shipping period applies to this Koi. Collection or scheduling for shipping must take place by 14.08.2026 at the latest. Until this date, the professional keeping, care, and preparation of your Koi are already included in the purchase price.

Please consider this date when making your purchase decision. It allows us to optimally plan our keeping and shipping capacities and simultaneously ensures species-appropriate care for the animals.

Appointment Booking

After purchase, booking a collection or shipping appointment is required.

You can quickly and easily select your desired date via our appointment portal. Only after the appointment has been booked will your Koi be prepared for handover and scheduled accordingly.

Collection & Shipping

In addition to your Koi, the purchase price also includes its professional keeping, daily care, and professional preparation for collection or shipping until the date specified in the respective offer. During this period, you will incur no additional keeping costs.

After the period specified in the offer, we charge – unless otherwise stated – a keeping fee of €10.00 per Koi and per started week.

All Koi from the 2025/2026 season must be collected or scheduled for shipping by the end of the season in September 2026 at the latest. Regardless, the individual collection or shipping period of the respective offer always applies.

If you cannot keep your appointment or have questions about the process, please contact us in advance. Together we will find a suitable solution.

Quarantine & Health Management

The health and well-being of our Koi are our highest priority. After their arrival from Japan, all animals are kept under optimal conditions in our facility and continuously monitored.

Unless otherwise stated in the respective offer, our Koi spend at least six weeks in controlled quarantine or observation keeping before being handed over to their new owner. During this time, they are carefully observed, accustomed to our water conditions, and optimally prepared for later transport.

Regular microscopic examinations for parasites and worm infestations are as standard for us as continuous monitoring of water quality, behavior, and general condition of the animals. This allows potential abnormalities to be identified and treated early.

Our aim is to hand over only healthy, vital, and optimally prepared Nishikigoi to you.

The veterinary care of our facility is provided by Dr. Rob Heymans.
