Live from Japan

Koi labeled "Live from Japan" are still with the breeder in Japan at the time of sale.

After arriving in Germany, all animals first undergo our quarantine. Once this has been successfully completed, collection or shipping dates can be arranged.

Quarantine

All Koi spend at least six weeks in quarantine before sale to rule out infection with viral diseases dangerous to Koi.

In addition, all Koi are microscopically examined weekly for parasite and worm infestation. Veterinary care is provided by Dr. Rob Heymans.

Invoice & Payment

You will receive the invoice for your auctioned Koi via email within 1–5 business days.

Payment is due within 7 days via bank transfer or PayPal.

For shipping, you will receive the separate shipping cost invoice approximately 1–2 weeks before the booked delivery date. Shipping will only take place after full payment of all outstanding invoices.

Collection of your Koi at our store in Mönchengladbach is, of course, free of charge.

Collection & Shipping

Wintering of your Koi is free of charge up to and including 12.06.2026.

From 13.06.2026, holding fees of €10.00 per Koi per commenced week will apply for all Koi purchased up to and including 15.05.2026 and not yet collected.

All Koi from the 2025/2026 season must have been collected or shipped by the end of September 2026 at the latest.

Collection is possible for customers from all countries.

Appointment Booking

After purchase, booking an appointment for collection or shipping is mandatory.

Appointments can be easily arranged by phone or email through our team. Please book your preferred appointment well in advance.

Shipping Boxes

The number of shipping boxes required depends on the size and number of your purchased Koi.

Please note that Koi with a size difference of more than 10 cm cannot be transported together in one shipping box.

Shipping costs depend on the number of shipping boxes required.
