Details
Keep your pH level between 6.5 and 8.0. Elevated pH levels often lead to lethargic behavior in pond fish. Furthermore, excessively high pH levels, combined with overstocking and an overloaded filter, can lead to an increase in ammonia (at pH levels above 7.5).
Adding pH-minus lowers the pH value. A lower pH value results in a reduced ammonia level. Adjusting water parameters (pH, GH, and KH) should always be done gradually over several days, as rapid changes can harm fish and plants.
