Sometimes the existing biology in a filter is not sufficient, or one decides to slightly overstock their pond. In such cases, if a larger filter cannot or will not be used, it is advisable to expand the biology. Genesis offers ready-made chambers. Trickle plates are inserted at the top and bottom of these chambers. The upper trickle plate ensures that the incoming water is evenly distributed. The lower plate prevents the filter media from flowing out into the pond. The bio-chambers can be filled with any filter material. It is best to use a medium that does not clog quickly, such as Hel-X® or Siporax®. The inlets and outlets can be freely chosen and are included in the price (as long as it is a usual quantity). The Hel-X® content is included in the price.
