Details

BHK KH Plus Stabil is a mineral care product for the targeted stabilization of the carbonate hardness (KH) in the pond. Based on calcium carbonate, it supports a stable pH value and reliably protects against sudden pH drops.

A stable KH is crucial for a healthy biological balance. BHK KH Plus Stabil supports filter biology, promotes a stable pond environment, and is suitable for regular use in koi and garden ponds.

Suitable for

• For koi ponds and garden ponds with fluctuating carbonate hardness
• For pond systems with an unstable pH value or risk of pH drops
• For mineral use to stabilize water parameters and filter biology

Benefits of BHK KH Plus Stabil
  • Stabilizes the carbonate hardness and the pH value
  • Reliably protects against pH drops
  • Supports filter biology and biological balance
  • Slow solubility for controlled release
  • Suitable for long-term pond care

Recommended dosage

• 10 g per 1,000 liters of pond water increases the KH by approx. 1 °dH
• In case of low KH, dose gradually and check water parameters regularly

Dosierung

To increase the carbonate hardness (KH) by approximately 1° dH, dose 10 g of KH Plus Stabil per 1,000 liters of water. If the KH is very low, the dosage should be administered in small increments over 2–3 days to avoid stressing the biological balance of the pond. Regular monitoring of water values is recommended, as KH is continuously consumed by rainwater, plant growth, and biological processes in the pond.
