The Hel-X® H2X36 filter medium offers excellent properties for trickle filters and large biofilters. The medium should be operated rigidly within the biofilter. The high-performance plastic packing provides a large surface area for bacterial colonization.
The Hel-X® H2X36 filter medium ensures good water quality in your pond with maximum nitrification efficiency. This makes the Hel-X® H2X36 filter medium ideal for the reduction of ammonium and nitrite in the final filter chamber (clear water). Furthermore, the Hel-X® H2X36 pond filter material can be used for biological wastewater treatment.
